Toolsvilla follows a transparent and structured Return & Refund Policy to ensure a reliable experience for all customers.


Return Window

Returns, replacements, or refunds can be requested within 72 hours i.e. 3 days of delivery.


Eligible Cases for Return /Replacement / Refund

Toolsvilla offers returns, replacements, or refunds under the following conditions:

Received Wrong Product

  • Difference in product specifications from the website
  • Difference in product brand (for generic/local brands, variations may occur based on seller availability)
  • Difference in product design
  • Difference in product material
    • For machinery, tools, equipment, spares, or accessories, color variations may occur due to manufacturing updates

Received Damaged Product

  • Eligible for full replacement, part replacement, or refund based on inspection of the issue

Defective / Incomplete Product

  • Defective products are eligible for replacement, part replacement, or refund
  • Incomplete products: missing parts/accessories will be shipped separately

Product Quality Issues

  • If the product is used, rusted, or in poor condition, it is eligible for replacement or refund

Non-Functional Product

  • Products may undergo basic troubleshooting or verification (via call/video)
  • If confirmed non-functional, the product will be eligible for return, replacement, or refund

How to Raise a Return Request

Customers must initiate a request within 72 hours i.e. 3 days of delivery via:


Customers may be required to provide:

  • Photos or videos of the issue
  • Unboxing video (recommended for faster resolution)

For ongoing cases, timely responses may be required to ensure smooth resolution.


Return Process

  • After the request is reviewed and validated, pickup will be arranged within 2–3 business days (subject to courier availability)
  • Customers are required to:
    • Repack the product securely in original packaging
    • Include all accessories (if applicable)

A repacking video may be requested to ensure safe transit.


Conditions for Return Acceptance

  • Product must be unused and in original condition
  • Product must include original packaging and accessories
  • Request must be raised within the 3-day return window

Non-Returnable Situations

Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Request raised after 72 hours i.e. 3 days of delivery
  • Product damaged due to customer misuse or mishandling
  • Product has been used or altered
  • Product is no longer required by the customer
  • Incorrect product ordered by the customer
  • Product not repacked appropriately for return
  • Combo products cannot be returned individually
  • Spare parts purchased for products not bought via Toolsvilla leading to compatibility issues


Resolution Options

Based on verification, Toolsvilla will provide:

  • Full product replacement
  • Part replacement (if applicable)
  • Refund

Refund Process

  • Prepaid Orders: Refunded to original payment method
  • COD Orders: Refunded via bank transfer (NEFT)

Customers may be required to provide:

  • Bank Name
  • Account Number
  • Account Holder Name
  • IFSC Code

Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days after verification

Notes:

  • EMI interest charged by banks is non-refundable
  • Toolsvilla is not responsible for incorrect bank details provided

Order Cancellation

Cancellation by Toolsvilla

Orders may be cancelled in cases such as:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Non-serviceable location
  • COD not available in delivery area
  • Product out of stock
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Open delivery requests

Cancellation by Customer
  • Full refund if cancelled before dispatch.
  • Logistics charges may apply if cancelled after dispatch.

Warranty

Warranty services are provided by the manufacturer or seller.

Steps to claim warranty:

  • Contact the seller/warranty provider
  • Provide invoice or proof of purchase
  • Share issue details (photos/videos may be required)
  • Follow instructions for inspection/repair
  • Customer will send the product to the seller

If covered under warranty:

  • Product will be repaired or replaced as per warranty terms

Important Notes

  • Certain cases may require verification via call or video
  • Toolsvilla facilitates resolution between customer and seller to ensure fair outcomes
