Short Description
Reliant Lab Potentiometer (P0ulley Type) for Ease in Lightening of Wires 4-Wire
With Pencil Jockey on Wooden Board
Country of origin: India
Specifications
- Brand: Reliant Lab
- Product Type : Poulley
- Jockey : Pencil Jockey
Description
The Reliant Lab Pulley Type Potentiometer is an innovatively designed electrical instrument that solves the common laboratory issue of sagging or loose resistance wires. This 4 wire model features a unique pulley tensioning mechanism that allows the user to easily tighten and align the wires, ensuring they remain perfectly parallel and taut over the 1 meter scale. Mounted on a heavy-duty seasoned wooden board, the four 1 meter wires are connected in series by high conductivity brass strips to provide a 4 meter effective length.
Features
:- Integrated Pulley Mechanism: Designed for the ease of tightening wires, ensuring they remain perfectly taut and horizontal for accurate jockey contact.
- High Grade Resistance Wire: Strung with uniform Manganin or Constantan wire, specifically chosen for its low temperature coefficient of resistance.
- Heavy Brass Linking Strips: Features thick, polished brass plates at the wire ends to ensure negligible contact resistance and a stable circuit path.
- Precision Pencil Jockey: Includes a streamlined jockey that allows for sharp, accurate contact at the balance point without damaging the wire surface.
Applications
:- Internal Resistance Determination
- Calibration of Analog Meters
- Measurement of Low Resistance
- Study of Potential Gradient
- Advanced Bridge Circuits
