Description
The Reliant Lab One Meter Potentiometer is a fundamental high-precision electrical instrument used in physics laboratories to measure electromotive force (EMF), potential difference, and internal resistance without drawing any current from the circuit. This model is constructed on a seasoned wooden board and features a uniform resistance wire stretched over a 100cm scale. The wire ends are securely attached to heavy brass strips, which ensure negligible contact resistance. Unlike standard models, this version includes a Spring Type Press Jockey, which allows the user to make instantaneous, vertical contact with the wire at the null point, preventing the wire from thinning due to friction and ensuring highly repeatable results.
