Usage
:- Ensure complete cleaning of the vehicle axle shaft housing and remove any metal burrs or rust build-up before press-fitting the new unit.
- Apply mechanical pressure strictly to the outer ring during housing installation, or the inner ring during shaft installation, to avoid point-load dimpling.
- Prevent uneven seating alignments in the wheel hub pocket, which can cause diagonal friction forces and prompt premature internal tracking fatigue.
- Do not expose the internal seals to localized direct heat sources (like oxy-acetylene welding torches) near the hub assembly during installation.
Maintenance
