Description
This commercial-grade 6206-2RS Deep Groove Ball Bearing is engineered to deliver reliable rotation performance and structural longevity under demanding daily operations. Optimized specifically for electric rickshaws (E-Rickshaws), electric loaders, and light transport electric vehicles, it excels in absorbing both high radial forces and moderate two-way axial loads. Featuring built-in dual-side synthetic rubber contact seals, the assembly retains vital industrial grease internally while acting as a barrier against ambient moisture, road grit, washdown spray, and fine dust.
Features
:- Double Rubber Contact Seals (2RS): Built with synthetic nitrile rubber shields on both faces to lock grease inside and repel destructive road debris, dirt, and water.
- Optimized Deep Groove Raceways: Highly polished, uniform ball-tracks maximize contact surface area, offering structural stability against balanced radial and axial load stresses.
- Low Vibration & Noise Emittance: Precisely machined rolling components and matching rings guarantee low-friction high-speed rotation, preventing micro-chatter during vehicle operation.
- Pre-Lubricated Mechanics: Packed from the manufacturing assembly line with professional-grade, high-temperature lithium or polyurea complex grease for zero-maintenance startup.
- Heavy-Duty Wear Resilience: Forged out of high-grade carbon-chromium steel alloy (GCr15), tempered for core strength to handle pothole impacts, heavy payloads, and uneven road topography.
Applications
:- E-Rickshaw Drivetrains: Main wheel hub assemblies, transmission gearboxes, and power differentials across commercial passenger models.
- Electric Freight Loaders: Heavy-duty load-carrying rear axles and support bearings for multi-wheel electric cargo carts.
- Light Electric Vehicles (LEVs): High-efficiency hub motors, electric transaxles, and mid-drive motor mounts.
- Commercial Material Handling: Conveyor pulleys, electric industrial lifts, platform trucks, and warehouse utility dollies.
- General Electro-Mechanical Motors: Clean energy industrial pumps, micro-turbines, ventilation blowers, and medium-horsepower electric motors.
Usage
:- Ensure the axle spindle and wheel hub seating bore are completely cleaned of old scoring marks, metal burrs, and ancient oxidized grease before installing the fresh unit.
- Utilize a mechanical press or specialized bearing driver tool that applies forcing pressure exclusively to the face of the outer ring during hub installation
- Avoid hammering directly onto the center inner ring, or else micro-dimples (brinelling) will form on the ball tracks, causing rapid mechanical failure.
- Verify the dual rubber seals remain level and seated inside their channel grooves following press operations to maintain total dust-exclusion protection.
- Install matching external mechanical dust caps or secondary grease seals over the vehicle hub whenever operating across muddy, waterlogged, or off-road tracking conditions.
Maintenance
:This 6206-2RS configuration is built as a sealed, completely closed unit designed for standard "set-and-forget" lifespans. Because the internal volume is filled with long-lasting grease during production, it cannot be cleaned, washed out with solvents, or refilled with oil manually without destroying the rubber seals.
