Place the QL-800 label printer securely onto a flat, level office desk or postal counter space near your workstation computer.
Plug the included AC power cord firmly into the rear electrical terminal jack and secure it into a matching wall outlet.
Link the high-speed USB 2.0 communication data cable from the device into a vacant port on your Windows or Mac host system.
Open the top cover hatch by pulling the release levers and drop in a standard Brother-compatible DK label spool roll guide.
Thread the label leading edge neatly through the designated feed slot area, then press the upper media shell cover down firmly until it clicks locked.
