Description
This Premium Quality Rear Hydraulic Disc Brake Caliper Assembly is an industrial-grade, precision-manufactured replacement braking component engineered exclusively for Generation 1 OLA electric scooters. Marketed by Rudra Motors, this comprehensive module functions as a direct-fit solution to replace sticky, leaking, or structurally worn-out rear calipers, instantly restoring factory-level stopping power and linear modulation. Constructed from a high-tensile, die-cast structural metal alloy with a corrosion-resistant matte black powder coat, the assembly features a specialized piston chamber designed for optimal hydraulic clamping force. It comes pre-equipped with premium friction-formula organic brake pads and an integrated low-voltage wear electronic sensor harness line, eliminating installation guesswork while ensuring smooth, squeak-free mechanical operation under challenging road conditions.
Features
:- Heavy-Duty Die-Cast Alloy: Forged using a rigid structural metal matrix that effectively resists heat-induced expansion and fluid pressure dilation during high-load downhill descents.
- Pre-Assembled Friction Pads: Outfitted with premium-grade compound brake pads designed for clean heat dissipation, rapid bite engagement, and minimized rotor wear.
- Integrated Electronic Sensor Line: Includes a factory-insulated low-voltage electronic wire line connector to interface seamlessly with the scooter's dashboard telemetry and regenerative braking array.
- Flawless Gen 1 OEM Fitment: Engineered specifically to slide onto original factory mounting brackets for OLA S1 and S1 Pro Gen 1 swingarms without frame modifications.
- Even Pressure Distribution: High-precision internal piston bore ensures balanced clamping action across the disc rotor surface to eliminate irregular brake pad wear.
- Complete Weatherproofing: Treated with an anti-corrosion matte black powder finish alongside protective rubber dust boots to shield sliding pins and bleeder valves from debris.
Applications
:- Authorized EV Workshop Maintenance: Standard direct-replacement component used by mechanics to replace seized or leaking rear wheel calipers.
- DIY Scooter Repair & Overhauls: Direct-fit swap module for private owners looking to fix dragging rear wheels or soft rear brake lever response at home.
- Commercial Delivery Fleet Operations: Essential mechanical inventory part for high-mileage logistics fleets requiring reliable stopping safety and low breakdown downtime.
Usage
:- Prop the electric scooter securely on its center stand and turn off the primary electrical power ignition loop.
- Remove the rear wheel assembly according to the vehicle manual to gain unhindered structural access to the brake mounting bracket.
- Clamp the hydraulic fluid line to prevent reservoir drainage, then loosen the banjo bolt to isolate the old caliper.
- Mount the new Rudra Motors rear caliper onto the swingarm bracket lugs, tightening the fastening bolts to recommended torque limits.
- Re-secure the hydraulic line with fresh copper crush washers, replenish with clean DOT 3/4 fluid, bleed all trapped air bubbles from the line, hook up the electronic sensor harness plug, and check wheel clearance.
