Description
This Rice Husk Grinding Machine with 50 HP motor Capacity  has a robust and high-performance of rice husk grinding. It is designed for efficient processing of rice husks into fine powder. It is built with durable mild steel, and a two-chamber pulverizer system, making it suitable for industrial applications for consistent production.

Applications

 :
This type of machine, designed for grinding rice husks, has several key applications, primarily focused on converting a bulky agricultural waste product into more valuable and usable forms.

  • Biofuel Production (Briquetting/Pelletizing):
Ground rice husk (often called rice husk powder or briquette/pellet feed) is an excellent raw material for producing solid biofuels. It can be compressed into briquettes or pellets, which are denser, easier to handle, and have higher calorific value than loose husks.
  •  Animal Feed Additive: While rice husk itself has limited nutritional value for many animals due to its high silica content, the finely ground material can be incorporated into certain animal feeds, particularly for ruminants, as a source of roughage or a carrier for other feed additives. Further processing (e.g., chemical treatment) can sometimes improve its digestibility.
  • Fertilizer and Soil Amendment: Rice husk, in its ground form, can be used as an organic fertilizer or soil conditioner. It helps improve soil structure, water retention, and aeration.

  • Activated Carbon Production: Rice husk can be a raw material for producing activated carbon, a highly porous material used in various applications like water purification, air filtration, and industrial adsorbents. The grinding process is an initial step in preparing the husk for carbonization and activation.

Usage

 :
The primary usage of this machine is to reduce the particle size of rice husks, transforming them from a bulky, fibrous agricultural waste product into a finer, more uniform powder or granular material. This process is crucial for making rice husks suitable for various industrial and agricultural applications.

  1. Feeding the Raw Material:

  • Whole, dried rice husks are fed into the machine's inlet hopper. Depending on the scale and sophistication of the operation, this can be done manually or through automated conveyor systems.

  • It's important that the rice husks are relatively clean and dry to ensure efficient grinding and prevent clogging.

2. First Chamber (Coarse Grinding):
  • The rice husks first enter the "First Chamber" (8" x 10"). In this chamber, the high-speed rotation of hammers or blades (driven by the 50 HP motor at 2880 RPM) initiates the grinding process.
  • The impact and attrition within this chamber break down the larger husks into smaller, more manageable pieces. This acts as a pre-grinding stage.
3.  Second Chamber (Fine Grinding/Pulverization):
  • The partially ground material then moves into the "Second Chamber" (10" x 24"). This chamber is typically designed for finer grinding, often with a more intricate arrangement of hammers, screens, or liners.
  • The intense impact and shearing forces in this chamber further reduce the particle size to the desired fineness. The 2880 RPM ensures significant kinetic energy for effective pulverization.
4.Discharge of Ground Material:
  • Once the rice husk reaches the desired particle size, it is discharged from the machine. This can be directly into bags, storage bins, or onto a conveyor system for further processing or packaging.
  • The specified production rate of 400-500 kg/hour indicates the volume of finely ground rice husk the machine can produce.
5.Power and Efficiency:
  • The 50 HP motor is a substantial power source, indicating the machine's capacity for continuous operation and handling a significant volume of material.
  • The high RPM (2880) is characteristic of pulverizers, ensuring strong impact forces necessary for breaking down fibrous materials like rice husks.
6.Maintenance and Spares:
The mention of "Spare Required - 10' x 10' x 8'" suggests the need for a dedicated space for storing wear parts. Given the abrasive nature of grinding, hammers, screens, and possibly liners will require periodic replacement to maintain efficiency and particle size consistency. Mild steel construction is common but subject to wear.
