Usage

 :
  • Pre-Operation Setup: Place the salamander on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Connect it to a suitable 2 kW power outlet. Turn it on and allow the heating elements to preheat thoroughly, typically for 5-10 minutes, until the desired temperature is reached.

  • Food Placement: Position the food item(s) on a heat-proof tray or directly on the cooking rack. Adjust the height of the rack or the heating element to set the optimal distance from the heat source, depending on the desired level of browning or melting.

  • Monitoring and Finishing: Slide the tray with the food into the salamander. Keep a close watch on the cooking process, as the powerful 2 kW heat can brown or finish dishes very quickly.

  • Safe Removal and Service: Once the food has achieved the desired finish, use insulated gloves or appropriate tools to carefully remove the hot tray from the salamander and serve the dish immediately.


Maintenance:

  • Daily Cleaning after Cooling: After each use, ensure the salamander is completely cooled down and unplugged. Wipe down all stainless steel exterior and interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, food-safe detergent to remove grease and food splatters.
