Description
The Metro Safety SB 1101 Class A Full Body Harness is an industrial personal protective equipment (PPE) safety asset meticulously engineered for individuals working in high-elevation construction, infrastructure building, and maintenance zones. Belonging strictly to the Class A designation, this safety harness is purpose-built to act as a primary fall arrest configuration. It relies on a heavy-duty back dorsal D-ring attachment affixed securely across the rear shoulder intersections to safely catch, decelerate, and distribute the dynamic dynamic-drop forces symmetrically across the skeletal system to mitigate dynamic impact injuries.
Features
:- Class A Fall Arrest Layout: Specifically designed and certified as a Class A system, featuring a single heavy-duty rear dorsal D-ring configured to cleanly capture and arrest a falling worker.
- IS 3521 Certified Compliance: Fully conforms to the rigid Indian Standard IS 3521 guidelines and comes complete with an authentic, official IS Mark for quality assurance.
- Heavy-Duty Webbing Construction: Built with industrial-grade PP (Polypropylene) or Nylon fiber webbing that measures 40 mm wide and 3 mm thick to maximize structural strength.
- Adaptive Multi-Point Sizing: Features highly customizable, independent adjustable waist and leg straps to guarantee a tailored contour over various work outfits.
- Metro Eco Configuration: Belongs to the cost-effective and highly reliable "Metro eco" series, delivering professional industrial height security without superfluous weight or complexity.
- High-Visibility Stripe Scheme: Vibrant orange and red color treatment enhances overall worker visibility under poor lighting conditions or active construction machinery areas.
Applications
:- High-Rise Structural Construction: Fundamental fall prevention gear for bricklayers, ironworkers, and site helpers working on open, multi-story building slabs.
- Scaffolding Erection & Stripping: Vital personal fall protection for industrial scaffolders rigging or dismantling temporary multi-tier framing matrices.
- Civic Infrastructure Maintenance: Highly suited for municipal workers inspecting overhead highway bridges, water tank access walkways, and tall light masts.
- Commercial Roofing Operations: Crucial restraint protection during industrial tin shed erections, sheet metal profiling, or solar panel grid alignments.
Usage
:- Thoroughly inspect the 40mm webbing paths, 3mm structural thickness, dorsal D-ring, and stitch seams for cuts, abrasions, thermal burns, or chemical erosion prior to use.
- Hold the harness upright by the rear dorsal D-ring and shake it gently to let all orange and red straps fall freely into their proper spatial layout.
- Slip the shoulder straps over your arms like slipping on a standard jacket or vest, ensuring the dorsal D-ring seats flatly between your shoulder blades.
- Pull the integrated waist strap tightly around your abdomen and secure it cleanly through the pass-through friction buckle.
- Reach down to pull the independent leg loops comfortably around your thighs, threading the webbing ends into their respective adjustment modules.
- Tighten all adjustment areas until the harness fits snugly—firm enough to protect your body during an impact, but leaving enough gap to pass a flat hand beneath the straps.
- Securely latch a certified, shock-absorbing lanyard or self-retracting lifeline to the rear dorsal D-ring before crossing into any designated fall-hazard perimeters.
