Description
The Toshweld TIG 200 m (TIG200M) is a sophisticated single-phase dual-process inverter welding equipment designed for manual stick (MMA) and precision TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) applications. This device, which is powered by a multi-card MOSFET inverter core that is incredibly dependable, has specific Pulse TIG parameters to efficiently control heat input on thin metal profiles. It has an adjustable output current range of 10 to 200 Amps and runs on a typical single-phase 230V line with a 6kVA input capacity. It produces ultra-clean, warp-free welds on stainless steel, carbon steel, and low-alloy steel sheets with thicknesses ranging from 0.3mm to 4.0mm thanks to its High-Frequency (HF) non-contact arc ignition and separate knobs for peak current, base current, pulse frequency, and pulse width.
Features
:- Advanced Pulse TIG Controls: To achieve great penetration while avoiding burn-through on thin sheet metals, front-panel knobs modify peak current, pulse frequency, and pulse width.
- Non-touch HF Ignition: High-frequency arc starting preserves tungsten sharpness and removes weld pool impurities by enabling rapid, accurate arc striking without physical touch.
- 2T/4T Trigger Switching: This feature reduces operator finger fatigue during lengthy, continuous welding seams by using automatic trigger latching (4T mode).
- Multi-Card MOSFET Architecture: Superior arc response, instantaneous power correction, and simple field serviceability are provided by tried-and-true internal circuitry.
- Comprehensive Protection Array: Designed to prevent harm from power spikes, this array has built-in circuit protection circuitry and an automatic thermal overload "O.C." indicator light.
Applications
:- Custom brackets, duct closures, electronic enclosures, and stainless steel templates are all made using precision sheet metal work.
- Sanitary Stainless Steel Piping: Clean TIG welding on restaurant countertops, brewery fittings, and food-grade processing pipelines.
- Custom headers, roll cages, silencers, and lightweight chassis frame panels made by welding are examples of automotive exhaust customization.
- General Maintenance & Repair: On-site stick welding repairs for gates, metal shop furniture, machinery mounts, and mild steel grills.
Usage
:- Before turning on the heavy-duty rear toggle switch, connect your workplace wall terminal block to a grounded, single-phase AC 230V socket.
- To use TIG, insert the gas-electric torch lead into the brass front interface and firmly position the multi-pin trigger connector.
- Directly attach the return ground clamp to a polished, naked section of the target steel sheet that is free of any loose rust coatings, priming, or oils.
- Adjust the dial matrix to balance peak amps, background current, and cleaning width dependent on sheet gauge by switching the front mode button between Pulse TIG and conventional MMA.
- After high-amperage welding blocks, let the integrated high-velocity cooling fan assembly run uninterrupted so that the copper heat sinks can stabilize securely.
