Skirting film is a general greenhouse wall cover made from laminated Woven fabric on both sides (polyethylene lamination) and it's possible to stitch it with the insect nets.
Features
:- Help to prevent mechanical damage on the boundary of the polyhouse.
- Allows diffused light to enter the polyhouse from sides, thus increasing photosynthesis.
- 4-year UV warranty
- Extra strong
- Provides higher mechanical strength
- Extra-strong Tear-resistant
- It helps retain CO2 inside the greenhouse, which helps the plant to undertake more photosynthesis and hence better vegetative growth
- Provides diffusion of 50%, thus enabling better growth of border rows
- Has anti-sulphur properties
Applications
:Temperature Control
- Insulation : Traps warm air inside the greenhouse in winter
- Reflection : Reflects sunlight and heat in summer
- Windbreak : Reduces the impact of cold drafts
Energy Efficiency
- Reduces reliance on artificial heating systems
- Helps maintain a stable temperature, which can lead to higher yields
Plant Protection
- Prevents weed seeds from germinating and growing
- Reduces evaporation from the soil surface, helping to retain moisture
- Helps manage pests and diseases
Other Benefits
- Prevents mechanical damage on the boundary of the greenhouse
- Allows diffused light to enter the greenhouse from sides
- Helps retain CO2 inside the greenhouse
Usage
:Installation Process
-> Clean the Base : Before applying the film, thoroughly clean the ground around the greenhouse to ensure proper adhesion.
-> Measure and Cut : Measure the perimeter of the greenhouse and cut the skirting film to size, allowing for some overlap at seams.
-> Secure with Clips or Tape (Not Included with Sales Package) : Attach the film to the greenhouse frame using specialized clips or strong adhesive tape, starting from one end and working your way around.
-> Tension and Overlap : Ensure the film is taut but not overly stretched, and overlap seams for better insulation.
Maintenance
-> Regular Checks : Periodically inspect the skirting film for tears, holes, or loose sections and repair them promptly.
-> Cleaning : Clean the film as needed to remove dirt and debris that could affect its performance.
