Description
The soil organic carbon detection kit is used to check the status of soil organic carbon in the soil. Soil organic carbon content up to 1.5 to 2.0% increases soil porosity that supports growth of the soil microorganisms. This increases the availability of different nutrients to the plant, resulting in better crop yield. Thus organic carbon is a true indicator of the soil's health. Also, it is a proven fact that soil having sufficient organic carbon will definitely have a proper content of other major elements like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Usage

This coloured complex formed is the direct proportion to the organic content of the soil. A color chart is provided to match the soil sample solution to indicate the approximate amount of manure/compost to be added to the soil.
