Sowmya (1 kg) is an advanced biological nematicide formulated with Paecilomyces lilacinus, a naturally occurring saprophytic fungus that parasitizes plant-destructive nematodes. Designed to break the life cycle of soil-borne nematodes, Sowmya secretes specialized proteolytic enzymes and proteases that dissolve the protective outer cuticle and cell walls of nematode eggs, juveniles, and adult females. Capable of destroying up to 90% of unhatched nematode eggs and 75–80% of egg masses in the rhizosphere, Sowmya drastically reduces soil nematode populations without relying on toxic chemical nematicides. It restores root zone vitality, prevents root galling, and ensures unhindered water and nutrient uptake. Applications

Soil Broadcasting: Mix 1–2 kg of Sowmya per acre with 200 kg of moist coir pith, sand, or farmyard manure (FYM); broadcast evenly across the field prior to irrigation or sowing.
Spot / Basal Application: Mix 1–2 kg of Sowmya with 200 kg of coir pith or compost and apply approximately 100 g of the mixture per plant directly around the root zone base.
Soil Spray & Drenching: Dissolve 1–2 kg in 250 liters of water and drench uniformly around the root zone or spray on the soil bed near the plants.
Moisture Requirements: Ensure adequate soil moisture at the time of application to facilitate spore germination and fungal colonization in the rhizosphere.
