Country of origin: India
Specifications
- Brand: Reliant Lab
- Bakelite Ring : 6 inch Dia
- Three Windings : 2 , 5 and 50 turns
Description
The instrument features a large vertical non-magnetic ring mounted on a sturdy tripod base with leveling screws. This ring is wound with high quality insulated copper wire, typically divided into three distinct sections of 2, 5, and 50 turns. Each section is connected to separate terminals on the base, allowing the user to select the number of turns based on the sensitivity required. At the center of the ring, a sensitive compass box is mounted on a horizontal platform.
Features
:- Multiple Winding Options: Features three separate coils with 2, 5, and 50 turns to accommodate a wide range of current intensities and experiment types.
- Non-Magnetic High Grade Ring: The frame is constructed from non-magnetic material to ensure that the coil's magnetic field is the only external influence on the needle.
- Precision Compass Box: Includes a small, high sensitivity magnetic needle with a long aluminum pointer and an anti parallax mirror for accurate degree readings.
- Adjustable Leveling Base: The unit sits on a heavy duty tripod base with three leveling screws to ensure perfect vertical alignment of the coil.
Applications
:- Verification of Tangent Law
- Calibration of Ammeters
- Study of Coil Turns
- Current Measurement
