The Abrigo BA-795 Temporary Horizontal Lifeline (HLL) is a versatile, mobile fall protection system designed for workers operating in the horizontal plane without continuous access to fixed anchorage points. Built with 44mm heavy-duty polyester webbing, the system features a robust steel tensioning ratchet to achieve proper line tension across spans ranging from 5 meters to 30 meters. Equipped with two screw-locking steel karabiners and integrated forked ends for direct anchoring to structural elements, it eliminates the need for additional anchorage slings. Tested to a minimum breaking strength of 25 kN and conforming to EN 795:2012 (Class B) standards, this system safely supports up to two workers operating simultaneously while limiting impact forces on personnel and stanchions.

Usage

Inspect the webbing, ratchet mechanism, karabiners, and stitching for damage or wear prior to deployment.
Securely connect the forked end karabiner to an approved structural anchor point at one end of the work area.
Pay out the 44mm polyester webbing along the span to the opposing anchor point and attach the second karabiner.
Operate the steel ratchet tensioner to pull excess webbing taut and apply the required system tension.
Store any unused webbing inside the permanently attached storage bag, then connect fall arrest lanyards or self-retracting lifelines (SRLs) for up to two workers before starting work.
