Description
Trichoderma viride is a beneficial soil fungus used as a biological fungicide to control many soil-borne plant diseases. It naturally colonizes plant roots and protects them by suppressing harmful pathogens. Trichoderma viride also improves root growth, enhances nutrient uptake, and promotes healthy plant development. It is widely used in organic farming, nurseries, home gardens, and commercial agriculture.

Usage
:Seed Treatment
- Mix 5–10 g of Trichoderma viride per kg of seeds. Coat the seeds evenly before sowing and dry in shade for 30 minutes.
Soil Application
- Mix 2–5 kg Trichoderma viride with 100 kg Farmyard Manure (FYM) or compost and broadcast in one acre of soil before planting.
Root Dip Treatment
- Mix 10 g per liter of water and dip seedling roots for 15–30 minutes before transplanting.
Nursery Application
- Mix 50–100 g with 10 kg potting mixture or nursery media before sowing seeds.
