Usage

• Placement: Position the freezer on a stable and level surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit for efficient operation.
• Initial Setup: After plugging in the appliance, allow it to run for several hours without any food inside to reach the desired operating temperature before loading.
• Temperature Setting: Utilize the temperature control knob or panel to select the desired mode: freezer mode for lower temperatures or refrigerator mode for higher temperatures, depending on what you need to store.
• Loading: Organize food items inside, using the provided basket to keep frequently accessed items easily reachable. Avoid overpacking to ensure proper air circulation and efficient cooling/freezing.
• Lid Operation: Open and close the lid promptly to minimize temperature fluctuations and energy loss. Ensure the lid is completely closed to maintain the set internal temperature.
• Defrosting: Over time, frost will accumulate inside the freezer, reducing its efficiency. Manually defrost the unit when the frost layer becomes significant (typically a few millimeters thick). To defrost, turn off and unplug the freezer, remove all contents, and allow the frost to melt. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly before restarting.

Maintenance:

• Regular Cleaning: Clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild detergent solution and a soft cloth. Wipe dry before plugging the unit back in.
• Defrosting: As mentioned above, manual defrosting is essential for maintaining efficiency.
• Door Seal Inspection: Regularly check the door seal for any signs of damage, cracks, or gaps. A faulty seal can lead to temperature leaks and increased energy consumption. Clean the seal with a damp cloth.  
• Ventilation Maintenance: Ensure that the ventilation openings around the freezer are not obstructed by dust or other objects.
• Condenser Coil Cleaning: If the condenser coils (usually located at the back or bottom) are accessible, gently clean them with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and improve cooling efficiency.
• Professional Servicing: For any technical malfunctions or unusual noises, it is recommended to contact a qualified appliance service technician for inspection and repair.

Precautionary Guidance:

• Electrical Safety: Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded and the voltage matches the appliance specifications. Avoid using extension cords.
• Handling Precautions: When moving the freezer, avoid tilting it more than 45 degrees to prevent damage to the compressor.
• Storage Restrictions: Do not store flammable or explosive materials inside the freezer.
• Water Avoidance: Prevent water from being sprayed directly onto the unit, especially electrical components.
• Child Safety: Keep children away from the appliance and never allow them to play inside.
• Unplug Before Maintenance: Always unplug the freezer from the power outlet before cleaning or performing any maintenance tasks.
• Damage Inspection: Before using the appliance, inspect it and the power cord for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.

• Cool Hot Food: Allow hot food to cool down to room temperature before placing it in the freezer.
