Usage
:Start and Heat: Connect the bhatti to a gas supply, ignite the two burners, and adjust the flame. Allow the 15mm thick tawa to heat up thoroughly for a few minutes, ensuring an even, stable temperature across the entire surface.
Grease the Tawa: Once hot, lightly rub the cooking surface with an oiled cloth or half an onion to create a non-stick layer.
Pour and Spread: Pour a ladle of dosa batter onto the tawa. Using a flat-bottomed bowl or a specialized spreader, quickly and smoothly spread the batter in a circular motion to form a thin, round dosa.
Cook and Garnish: Let the dosas cook until they become golden brown and crispy, which the thick tawa ensures. You can add oil or ghee and any fillings. The two burners allow you to cook multiple dosas simultaneously.
Remove and Serve: Once the dosas are cooked, use a spatula to lift them off the tawa. Fold or roll the dosas and serve them hot. Wipe the tawa with a damp cloth before pouring the next batch.
