The Direct rice Drum Seeder is an innovative piece of equipment that has altered the way rice seeds are sown in wetland fields. Direct paddy drum seeder has reduced the need for transplantation and hours of human labor, which would literally break the backs of farmers involved in sowing paddy seeds in the field. With a single operator effort, it can cover 8 rows of 20 cm row-to-row spacing at once.
Features
:- Labour cost is reduced drastically.
- Light in weight and easy to handle.
- An area of 1 hectare can be sown in a day.
- Reduction in seed rate and thinning's.
- Crop matures 7-10 days earlier than transplanted paddy.
Usage
:To use this Seeder :
- Adjust Row Spacing : Set the desired spacing according to your planting requirements (commonly around 20 cm to 25 cm).
- Load Seeds into the Drum : Open the seed drum and fill it with prepared paddy seeds. Ensure that you do not overfill, as this can affect seed distribution.
- Positioning : Start at one end of the field. Align the seeder so that it is straight and ready to move forward.
- Begin Sowing : With a single operator effort, pull the drum seeder across the field. The design allows it to cover 8 rows simultaneously, which increases efficiency compared to manual sowing methods.
- Maintain Steady Speed : Keep a consistent pace while moving forward to ensure uniform seed distribution across all rows. Avoid sudden stops or jerky movements which can lead to uneven sowing.
