Usage
:- Set Up : Place the machine on a stable, flat surface. Ensure it’s connected to the power supply (electric) or gas supply (if using gas). Fill the base of the steamer with water to generate steam.
- Prepare the Idli Batter : Mix rice and urad dal to make the idli batter and let it ferment for 8-12 hours.
- Load the Trays : Grease the idli moulds lightly to prevent sticking. Pour the batter into the moulds, filling them halfway.
- Insert the Trays : Place the loaded trays inside the steamer.
Start Steaming(
Electric Operation): Turn on the power, set the desired temperature, and allow the steamer to generate steam.- Gas Operation : Light the gas and adjust the flame to maintain consistent steam production.
- Steam the Idlis : Steam the idlis for approximately 10-15 minutes or until they are fully cooked and firm.
- Remove the Trays : Carefully remove the trays from the steamer once the idlis are cooked.
- Serve : Serve the idlis hot with chutney or sambar.
