Description
The Instant Rice Grinder machine is a perfect equipment for the purpose of efficient grinding of rice for making idli and dosa. This machine is powered by a 2 HP electric motor and has a capacity of 45 litres and is made using high grade stainless steel material which enhances the overall durability and makes the machine suitable for carrying out high volume grinding operations.

Features

 :
  • High Efficiency : This machine is designed to grind large quantities of rice quickly, significantly reducing the time required compared to manual grinding methods.
  • Ease of Use : The machine features user-friendly controls which makes it easy to operate, even for individuals with minimal cooking experience.
  • Compact Design : This instant rice grinder is designed to be compact and lightweight, making it suitable for home kitchens and small scale businesses with limited space.

Usage

 :
1. Gather Your Ingredients : Select the type and quantity of rice or other legumes. Common choices include soaked white rice, brown rice, or a mix of rice and urad dal (black gram).

2. Soaking : Soak the rice and dal for 4 to 8 hours or overnight. Soaking softens the grains and facilitates easier grinding.

3. Rinsing : After soaking, rinse the rice and dal thoroughly under running water to remove excess starch and any impurities.

4. Setting Up the Machine : Ensure the grinding machine is clean and dry. Position it on a flat, stable surface close to a power source to avoid any cord hazards.

5. Power On the Machine : Plug in the grinder. Switch it on and allow it to run for a few seconds to ensure it's working correctly.

6. Load the Ingredients : Open the grinding chamber and carefully add the soaked and rinsed rice and dal mixture. Depending on your machine’s capacity, you may need to do this in batches for larger quantities.

7. Monitor the Grinding Process : Keep an eye on the consistency of your batter. The grinding process typically takes between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the machine’s power and the rice variety. You can stop the machine intermittently to scrape down the sides and ensure even grinding.

8. Testing Consistency : Once you feel it’s ready, stop the grinder and check the texture. The batter should be smooth and free of coarse particles. If necessary, run the grinder for a few more minutes.

9. Collect the Mixture : Carefully open the grinding chamber and scrape out the batter into a clean container. Be cautious, as the contents will be hot.

Maintenance :
  • Unplug and Cool Down : Ensure the machine is unplugged and has cooled down before cleaning.
  • Wash Thoroughly : Use warm soapy water and a soft brush to clean the grinding chamber. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers, as they can damage the surfaces.
  • Rinse and Dry : Rinse all parts thoroughly to remove soap residue, then dry each component completely before reassembling.

Applications

 :
  • Idli and Dosa Batter Preparation : In South Indian cuisine, this grinder is particularly valuable for preparing batters required for idlis (steamed rice cakes) and dosas (fermented crepes), ensuring a fine texture that is crucial for these traditional foods.
  • Commercial Use in Food Manufacturing : Beyond home kitchens, this grinder finds applications in commercial settings where large quantities of these products need to be prepared quickly and efficiently.
  • Traditional Cuisine : In many Asian cultures, the instant wet rice grinder is utilized for the preparation of ingredients essential to regional cuisines, facilitating the creation of rice cakes, rice noodles, and other specialty dishes.
