Preheat the Tawa: Allow the 8 mm thick tawa to heat evenly. This usually takes a few minutes.
Prepare the Dough: Have your chapati dough ready.
Cook the Chapatis:
Place a rolled-out chapati on the hot tawa.
Cook on one side until small bubbles appear.
Flip and cook the other side until it's partially done.
Using tongs, place the partially cooked chapati directly over the flame (briefly) to puff it up. Be cautious. Alternatively, some bhattis have a dedicated puffing section.
Remove the puffed chapati and keep it warm.
Repeat: Continue cooking chapatis as needed on both burners.
Adjust Heat:Use the control knobs to regulate the flame intensity for each burner as you cook.
Clean Up: After use, turn off the gas supply and allow the bhatti to cool down before cleaning the stainless steel body and tawa.
