- Robust Shank : Features a 30mm hexagonal shank for a secure fit and maximum power transfer in heavy demolition hammers.
- Extended Reach : 400mm overall length allows for deep penetration and easier access to difficult areas.
- Durable Construction : Manufactured from high-grade steel to withstand intense impact and resist wear.
- Specific Compatibility : designed specifically for optimized performance with Wadfow models WDB1D90 and UWDB1D90.
- Secure Storage : Comes packed in a durable plastic tube for protection and easy transport.
Applications
:This heavy-duty point chisel is ideal for :
- Breaking up concrete slabs, foundations, and footings.
- Demolishing brick or block walls.
- Chipping away asphalt and stubborn masonry.
- Starting holes in concrete for subsequent drilling or breaking.
- General heavy demolition work on construction sites.
Usage
:User Instructions :
- Safety First : Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, heavy gloves, ear protection, and a dust mask.
- Preparation : Ensure your demolition hammer is unplugged or the battery is removed before changing bits.
- Lubrication : Apply a small amount of appropriate grease to the shank end of the chisel before insertion.
- Insertion : Insert the 30mm hex shank into the hammer's chuck until it locks securely into place. Pull on the chisel to ensure it is seated correctly.
- Operation : Position the pointed tip against the material to be broken. Apply steady, firm pressure to the hammer and engage the trigger. Let the tool do the work; do not lean with excessive force.
- Technique : Work from the edges of the material inwards. Do not try to break off too large a piece at once.
Maintenance :
- Clean After Use : Wipe the chisel clean of concrete dust and debris after every use to prevent buildup in your tool's chuck.
- Regular Greasing : Always grease the shank lightly before inserting it into the hammer to reduce friction and wear on both the bit and the tool chuck.
- Inspect for Wear : Regularly check the chisel for signs of fatigue. If the tip becomes excessively dull, efficiency will decrease.
- Storage : Return the chisel to its plastic tube after use and store it in a dry environment to prevent rust.
