Description
The Toshweld TIG / ARC 300 (TIG300A) is an extremely adaptable industrial-grade dual-process inverter welding power source designed for heavy-duty stick (MMA) and precision TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding operations. It produces a remarkably smooth, low-spatter arc over an adjustable current range of 7 to 300 Amps and is powered by a solid, multi-card MOSFET system. It incorporates integrated High-Frequency (HF) arc ignition, which enables a non-contact arc start to avoid tungsten contamination, and operates on a reliable three-phase 415V industrial grid. It provides superior structural and sheet metal performance on carbon steel, stainless steel, and low-alloy plates up to 10mm thick with an outstanding 0.93 power factor and independent arc force adjustments.
Features
:- Dual-Process Flexibility: A front-panel toggle switch seamlessly switches between heavy-duty stick (ARC/MMA) electrode welding and ultra-clean TIG welding.
- Non-Contact HF Ignition: High-frequency arc starting keeps your tungsten sharp and the weld pool clean by ensuring quick, dependable arc initiation without coming into contact with the workpiece.
- Adjustable Arc Force Control: Designed to keep the electrode from freezing or sticking during tight joint root passes, this control has a separate Arc Force dial.
- Stable Three-Phase Performance: Reduces power fluctuations and preserves penetration uniformities by optimizing input draw across 415V grids.
- Heavy-Duty MCB Safety: Provides better overcurrent circuit protection by using a stiff, front-panel industrial molded circuit breaker (MCB) rather than a typical power switch.
- Digital Display Panel: Accurate settings and readouts of the active output amperage are provided by a transparent, real-time digital current meter.
Applications
:- Exhaust manifolds, commercial kitchen countertops, decorative handrails, and hygienic food-grade pipes are all welded using precision stainless steel fabrication.
- Stick welding structural angle iron, channel steel, I-beams, and framework assembly are examples of heavy structural construction.
- Repairing high-pressure steel lines, fuel tanks, and structural brackets in chemical or industrial facilities is known as pressure vessel repair.
- Custom heads, lightweight chassis panel mounts, and clean TIG welding on roll cages are examples of automotive customization.
Usage
:- Before turning on the front panel MCB, make sure your shop grid can supply a steady three-phase AC 415V power input.
- Attach the TIG torch gas lead to the designated front-panel brass gas output and use an argon regulator to connect your shielding gas cylinder to the rear intake.
- Directly clamp the return earthing lead onto a part of your metal work piece that has been cleanly ground and is completely free of grease, scale, or paint.
- Turn the dial to select your desired Amps according to your choice of rod or tungsten, and flip the front toggle switch up for TIG operation or down for ARC/MMA welding.
