Usage

 :
User Instructions :

1. Attach the Socket

  • Choose the appropriate socket size.
  • Push it onto the square end of the ratchet handle (½″ drive) until it clicks into place.
2. Set the Ratcheting Direction

  • Most ratchets have a switch or lever near the head.
  • Flip it to choose the direction:
  • Clockwise = Tighten
  • Counter-clockwise = Loosen
3. Position on Bolt or Nut

  • Place the socket directly over the bolt/nut head.
  • Make sure it fits snugly — avoid forcing it.
4. Turn the Ratchet

  • Move the handle back and forth — the ratchet mechanism allows you to turn the bolt without removing the tool each time.
  • Use controlled, even pressure.

Maintenance :

1. Clean After Each Use

  • Wipe sockets, ratchet, and accessories with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Remove dirt, grease, and debris to prevent buildup.
  • For stubborn grime, use a mild degreaser or soapy water, then dry thoroughly.
2. Lubricate Moving Parts

  • Apply a few drops of light machine oil or lubricating spray to the ratchet mechanism regularly.
  • Work the ratchet back and forth to distribute the oil inside.
  • Avoid over-oiling; just enough to keep it smooth.
3. Check for Wear or Damage

  • Inspect sockets and the ratchet for cracks, rust, or deformation.
  • If any piece is damaged, replace it to avoid injury or damaging fasteners.
4. Store Properly

  • Keep the tools in the provided durable carry case when not in use.
  • Store in a dry place to avoid rust — moisture is the enemy of metal tools.
  • Avoid dropping or rough handling to prevent bending or damaging the sockets.
5. Avoid Using Power Tools

  • This set is designed for hand use only.
  • Using power tools with these sockets can cause damage or premature wear.
6. Prevent Rust

  • If you live in a humid environment, consider using silica gel packs in the case.
  • Periodically apply a rust inhibitor spray on sockets and ratchet for extra protection.
