Description
Tackle heavy industrial projects with the Heavy Duty ARC-300. Engineered with IGBT technology and built-in VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) for maximum safety, this welder supports 2.5mm to 4mm rods effortlessly. Whether using single or double-phase connections, it delivers a stable 30-200A output. Ideal for professional fabrication requiring deep penetration and consistent performance.
Features
:- VRD Safety System : Features a Voltage Reduction Device that lowers open-circuit voltage when not welding, preventing electric shocks and ensuring operator safety in damp environments.
- Heavy Duty Performance : Designed to run larger 4mm (No. 8) electrodes, making it perfect for welding thick steel plates and heavy structural beams.
- Single & Double Phase Compatible : Rugged power input design capable of handling heavy loads on standard 220V lines or industrial phase setups.
- Efficient IGBT Inverter : transform high voltage into low voltage/high current with minimal power loss, offering a smoother arc and better weld bead.
- Smart Cooling : High-velocity fan ensures the machine stays cool even during extended operation at the 60% duty cycle.
Accessories
:- 1 x Operator's Manual
- 1 x Electrode Holder
- 1 x Earthing Clamp
Note : Brand, Colour & Design May Vary
Applications
:- Heavy duty Workshop welding work & welding up to 4mm rods in heavy duty workshop & fabrication welding work.
- Suitable Welding Rods : Continuous MS welding of up to 4.0 mm rods.
- Repair and maintenance : Welding machines are also used for repair and maintenance purposes, such as fixing broken metal parts, reinforcing structures, and restoring equipment.
- Construction : Welding machines are commonly used in construction projects for joining steel beams, girders, and other structural components.
- Automotive industry : Welding machines are used to join different parts of a vehicle such as chassis, engine, and body.
- Manufacturing : Welding machines are used to join metal components in the manufacturing industry, including machinery and electronics.

Usage
:Usage Guidance (How to Use) :
- Setup : Place the machine on a flat, dry surface. Ensure the VRD indicator (if visible) is active for safety.
- Connections : Tighten the Earthing Clamp to the negative (-) socket and the Electrode Holder to the positive (+) socket.
- Rod Selection : For heavy metal (above 5mm thickness), use a 4.0mm rod. For general work, use 3.15mm.
- Amperage Dial : 2.5mm rod: Set to ~70-100A, 3.15mm rod: Set to ~100-140A, 4.0mm rod: Set to ~140-190A
- Operation : Strike the arc. You will notice the VRD automatically disengages to provide full power once the arc starts, and re-engages when you stop.
Maintenance Guidance :
- Ventilation is Key : Since this machine handles higher loads, ensure the rear cooling vents are never blocked by walls or cloth.
- Terminal Check : High amperage can loosen connections over time. Check the cable tightness into the machine sockets weekly to prevent arcing/melting.
- Clean the Fan : Dust accumulation on the fan blades can reduce cooling efficiency. Clean carefully with a soft brush.
- Cable Inspection : Regularly inspect the insulation on the electrode holder cable, as heavy-duty use can cause wear and tear.
