For Current Sensitivity Analysis
Country of origin: India
Specifications
- Brand: Reliant Lab
- Product Quantity : 1 Piece
- Number of Coaxial Coils : 2
Description
The Reliant Lab Helmholtz Galvanometer is a sophisticated electrical instrument used to measure very small electric currents and to investigate the properties of magnetic fields. The Helmholtz Galvanometer consists of two identical circular coils mounted coaxially and parallel to each other, separated by a distance exactly equal to the radius of the coils. The unit is typically mounted on a non-magnetic base with leveling screws and a rotating degrees scale.
Features
:- Precision Compass Box: Equipped with a high sensitivity magnetic needle and a large, anti parallax mirror scale for accurate degree readings.
- Adjustable Coil Distance: The coils are precisely set at a distance, but are often adjustable on a sliding rail for experimental verification of field gradients.
- Non Magnetic Construction: Fabricated using brass, wood, or high grade plastic to ensure no stray magnetic interference affects the needle's deflection.
- Stable Leveling Base: Includes a heavy tripod base with leveling screws to ensure the instrument is perfectly horizontal and the needle swings freely.
Applications
:- Current Sensitivity Analysis
- Verification of Helmholtz Principle
- Magnetic Field Mapping
- Earth’s Magnetic Field Study
- Calibration of Ammeters
- Electromagnetic Induction Research
