Maintenance & Care Tips :
To maximize the lifespan and performance of the drill, here are some recommended maintenance practices :
Battery Care :
Fully charge the batteries before first use.
Avoid deep discharging – recharge once battery is low rather than letting it go flat.
Store batteries in a cool, dry place. High heat degrades Li-ion batteries.
Use the original charger; incompatible chargers may damage the battery or reduce performance.
Cleaning :
After use, wipe the drill body with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust / debris.
Clean out the chuck periodically: dust can build up inside, affecting grip on drill bits.
Lubrication :
Occasionally apply a drop of light machine oil to the chuck (open it, apply, then run the drill briefly) — helps maintain smooth operation.
If the gearbox (internals) feels stiff or makes unusual noise, it may need professional servicing — don’t try to open the motor housing unless you’re trained.
Storage :
Store in a protective case or box (if provided) along with accessories.
Remove the battery from the drill if storing for a long time.
Operational Safety :
Use correct drill bits for the material (wood, metal, etc.).
Do not overload the drill; let it work rather than forcing it.
Use correct speed – higher RPM for lighter tasks, slower for heavy-duty or precision drilling.
Periodic Checks :
Inspect the power trigger, chuck, and housing for any damage.
Check battery terminals for corrosion / dirt. Clean if necessary with a dry brush.
Ensure the charger is working correctly and not overheating.
