Assemble Guidance :
Here is a step-by-step guide based on standard assembly for this specific model :
1. Assemble the Frame and Wheels :
- The Stand : Connect the main support leg to the axle frame. Secure them using the provided bolts, washers, and nuts.
- The Wheels : Slide a wheel onto each end of the axle. Secure them using a flat washer followed by a split pin (cotter pin). Remember to bend the ends of the split pin outward so the wheels don’t fall off.
2. Mount the Lower Drum :
- The Bearing Block : Slide the bearing block onto the shaft of the lower drum.
- Mounting : With a partner, lift the lower drum and place it onto the side supports of the frame. The gear ring on the drum should align with the pinion gear on the frame.
- Secure : Fasten the bearing blocks to the frame using the M8 bolts and locking nuts provided.
3. Install the Mixing Blades (Paddles) :
- Inside the lower drum, loosely attach the two mixing blades.
- Pro Tip : Use the rubber washers provided between the blade and the drum wall to prevent water/cement leakage and to reduce vibration.
4. Attach the Upper Drum :
- Place the upper drum onto the lower drum. Most models have arrows marked on the rims—make sure these arrows align perfectly to ensure the bolt holes line up.
- Insert the bolts around the rim and tighten them progressively (tighten one, then the one opposite it) to ensure an even seal.
- Finish securing the top of the mixing blades to the upper drum.
5. Install the Steering Wheel & Motor :
- The Locking Plate : Slide the notched locking plate over the steering shaft and bolt it to the frame.
- The Steering Wheel : Attach the steering wheel to the shaft. This allows you to tilt the drum and lock it into different positions for mixing or pouring.
- The Motor Box : Align the motor assembly with the pinion shaft. Slide it into place and secure it to the frame with the designated bolts. Ensure the drive belt (if not pre-installed) is seated correctly on the pulleys.
Safety Checklist Before Starting :
1. Tighten All Bolts : Go back over every nut and bolt; vibration from mixing can loosen them quickly if they aren't snug.
2. Level Ground : Always operate on a flat, solid surface to prevent the mixer from tipping over when full.
3. Power : Plug it into a grounded 220–240V outlet. (As we discussed, a 3-5 kVA generator is plenty for this 1000W motor).
Usage
:User Instructions :
1. Setup :
- Place the mixer on a level surface and ensure a stable power connection (220–240V).
- Check all fasteners and ensure the drum rotates freely.
2. Loading :
- Tilt the drum to the loading position and add cement, sand, gravel, and water as required.
3. Mixing :
- Turn on the motor and let the drum rotate at 28 RPM.
- Mix for about 8–10 minutes for optimal consistency.
4. Discharging :
- Use the steering handle to tilt and pour out the mixed material safely.
- Switch off and unplug after use.
Maintenance :
- Clean the drum thoroughly after every use to prevent hardened concrete buildup.
- Lubricate rotating and moving parts periodically for smooth operation.
- Inspect electrical cables and connections regularly for damage.
- Keep air vents and motor casing free from dust.
- Tighten loose bolts or nuts before each operation.
- Store in a dry, clean area away from moisture and direct sunlight.
