Description
The 250mm Industrial Scarifier and Milling Machine is a heavy-duty solution for aggressive surface preparation. Equipped with a high-torque 7.5KW motor (or 9-13HP engine option), it features a 6-shaft drum holding 108 tungsten carbide blades. This powerhouse efficiently removes coatings, levels uneven concrete, and creates non-slip textures at a rate of up to 70m² per hour.
Features
:- High-Mass Performance : Weighing 150kg, the machine provides the necessary downforce to prevent "jumping," ensuring a consistent 5mm milling depth.
- Precision Drum System : Features a 6-shaft configuration with 108 durable blades for uniform texture and rapid material removal.
- Versatile Drive Options : Available in 7.5KW electric for indoor use or 9-13HP petrol versions for remote outdoor construction sites.
- Adjustable Depth Control : Fine-tune the milling depth to handle everything from light scabbing to heavy-duty grooving.
- Large Surface Coverage : Engineered for efficiency, covering up to 70 square meters per hour to meet tight project deadlines.
Applications
:- Coating Removal : Stripping away thick epoxy, resins, thermoplastic markings, and waterproof membranes.
- Leveling : Grinding down high spots, trip hazards, or uneven joints in concrete slabs.
- Surface Texturing : Creating non-slip "grooved" surfaces on ramps, walkways, and livestock flooring.
- Floor Prep : Removing laitence and roughening concrete surfaces before applying new overlays or coatings.
Usage
:User Instructions :
- Inspection : Ensure the drum is securely fitted and all 108 blades are intact and rotating freely on the 6 shafts.
- Depth Setting : Use the handwheel to set the milling depth. Start shallow and increase depth gradually to avoid stalling the motor.
- Operation : Start the motor/engine and engage the drum. Walk at a steady, slow pace in a straight line.
- Dust Control : Connect an industrial vacuum to the integrated dust port to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Direction : Overlap each pass by approximately 2 inches to ensure a uniform finish across the entire floor.
Maintenance :
- Blade Rotation : Check blade wear regularly. Rotate or replace the 108 cutters to ensure even cutting performance.
- Shaft Maintenance : Inspect the 6 shaft roots for grooves or bending; replace shafts if they show signs of excessive wear.
- Drive Belt : Check the tension of the drive belt weekly; a loose belt will reduce milling efficiency and torque.
- Bearing Lubrication : Grease the main drum bearings every 20 hours of operation to prevent heat-related failure.
- Fastener Tightness : Due to high vibration, check all bolts and the depth-adjustment mechanism daily for tightness.
