Usage

User Instructions :

1. Identify the Right Socket Size

  • Look at the bolt or nut you're working on.
  • Measure it (or use a socket gauge) to find the correct metric size (e.g. 17 mm, 24 mm, etc.).
  • Choose the matching socket from the set.
 The set includes sizes from 8 mm to 32 mm, covering most common fasteners in automotive, industrial, and construction applications.

2. Attach the Socket to Your Tool

  • Push the socket onto the 1/2" square drive of your chosen tool :

  • Impact wrench: for high-torque applications (e.g. wheel nuts, suspension bolts)
  • Torque wrench: for accurate tightening
  • Breaker bar: for manually loosening tight bolts
  • Ratchet: for general use

  • Ensure it clicks in securely and does not wobble.

3. Position the Socket on the Fastener

  • Align the socket directly over the bolt/nut.
  • Ensure the socket fits fully and snugly onto the fastener.
  • The 6-point design helps grip the flat sides of the nut (reducing rounding).

4. Turn the Fastener

To loosen :

  • Rotate counter-clockwise (lefty-loosey).
  • Use an impact wrench or breaker bar for stubborn bolts.

To tighten :

  • Rotate clockwise (righty-tighty).
  • Use a torque wrench if specific torque is required (e.g. lug nuts: 90–120 Nm).
  • Avoid over-tightening with an impact wrench.

5. After Use

  • Clean the socket with a dry or lightly oiled cloth.
  • Inspect for damage (especially after heavy use).
  • Return the socket to its metal storage case to prevent loss or damage.

Maintenance :

1. Clean After Every Use

  • Wipe each socket with a clean, dry cloth to remove :
  • Dirt
  • Grease
  • Debris
  • For heavy grime or oil, use a mild degreaser or brake cleaner — then dry completely with a cloth.

2. Inspect for Damage

  • After every few uses, check for :

  • Cracks or chips, especially on the drive end or hex opening
  • Deformation or rounding of corners (can cause slippage)
  • Rust or corrosion, especially on the inner faces

Damaged sockets should be replaced immediately to prevent injury or damage to fasteners.

3. Apply Light Oil to Prevent Rust

  • Use a light machine oil or rust inhibitor on each socket to prevent oxidation — especially if you store the set in a humid area.
  • Apply a very thin coat and wipe off excess with a cloth.

Important if you're in a coastal or high-humidity environment.

4. Use With Proper Tools Only

  • Always use sockets with impact-rated tools (impact wrench, breaker bar, torque wrench).
  • Avoid using these sockets on non-impact or manual ratchets for high-torque work — doing so may crack or damage the socket.

5. Store Properly

  • Return sockets to the metal case after use.
  • Ensure the case is kept :

6. Avoid Over-Torquing
