Description
Power up your workshop with the X Machine 260A IGBT Single & Double Phase Arc Welding Machine (MMA 260 II). This heavy-duty inverter welder delivers up to 260 Amps and supports both 220 V single phase and 380 V double phase inputs, making it versatile for onsite or workshop welding tasks. The advanced IGBT technology ensures a stable arc, efficient performance and cleaner welds. Whether you’re repairing equipment, fabricating structural work or doing general maintenance, this machine gives you the strength and flexibility you need. Lightweight yet robust (approx. 8 kg) it’s built for portability and durability. Ideal for both professionals and serious hobbyists demanding reliable results.
Features
:- Robust 260 Amp output for demanding MMA (stick) welding tasks.
- Dual-voltage (220/380 V) and dual-phase operation: very flexible for various power supplies.
- Advanced IGBT inverter technology for smoother arcs, less spatter and energy efficiency.
- Lightweight and portable design (~8 kg) for easier transport between job sites or within workshop.
- Wide frequency support (50/60 Hz) for compatibility with standard power supplies.
- Built to handle heavier duty jobs compared to basic welders, giving better performance and reliability.
- Suitable for professional and industrial use, as well as serious DIY metal fabrication.
Applications
:- Fabrication of steel structures, frames, supports and gates.
- Maintenance welding in workshops, factories and onsite locations.
- Construction-site welding where 220/380 V supply is available.
- Automotive bodywork, heavy equipment repair and general metalwork.
- Professional and serious hobby welding jobs requiring high current and dual-voltage compatibility.
Usage
:Usage Guidance (How to Use) :
- Ensure your supply voltage matches either 220 V single phase or 380 V double phase, with proper earthing/grounding.
- Place the machine on a stable surface in a well-ventilated area; avoid damp or poorly ventilated locations.
- Connect the ground clamp securely to the workpiece for safe and efficient welding.
- Attach your electrode holder and select an electrode suitable for the material and current load (appropriate for a 260 A machine).
- Switch on the machine and adjust the welding current to match electrode diameter, material thickness and desired weld penetration.
- Strike the arc, hold the correct angle, maintain steady travel speed and proper arc length for a quality weld.
- Monitor duty cycle — while this model supports more robust usage, continuous welds at high current can still lead to overheating; allow breaks as needed.
- After completion, turn off the machine, let it cool if it has been under heavy load, disconnect cables and clean the area.
Maintenance Guidance :
- Keep the cooling vents and fan clear of dust, spatter and debris to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
- Inspect welding cables, clamps, and connections regularly for signs of wear, damage or loose fittings; replace or tighten as required.
- Avoid using the machine in wet or overly dusty environments (the machine may have standard protection but good practice prolongs lifespan).
- After heavy usage, allow the machine to rest/cool down before storage to preserve components.
- Store the unit in a dry, cool place away from corrosive atmospheres or direct exposure to the elements.
- Clean exterior surfaces periodically, remove spatter build-up and keep electrodes and holder clean.
- Use correct electrode sizes and settings to avoid overloading the machine — proper usage extends the life of the unit.
