Description
The welding machine uses Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) technology. This comes with a digital display. It offers a no-load voltage of 68V for fast and reliable service. With the rated input current of 36A, the ARC 400A delivers an uncontested workflow for welding. It is an energy-efficient machine that comes with multiple safety features such as automatic compensation for voltage fluctuation, overcurrent protection, and overload protection.
Features
:- Digital display
- Semiconductor device
- Professional Welding Machine
- Used Insulated gate bipolar transistor technology
- IGBT technology makes the device smaller and lighter
- It generates heat that melts the metal parts to join these parts
- Easy to weld stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel, copper alloy, and other nonferrous metal
Accessories
:- 1 unit Welding Machine
- 1 unit Electrode Holder
- 1 unit Helmet
- 1 unit Earth Clamp
- 1 unit Brush Hammer
- 1 unit User Manual
Applications
:- Repair and maintenance: Welding machines are also used for repair and maintenance purposes, such as fixing broken metal parts, reinforcing structures, and restoring equipment.
- Construction: Welding machines are commonly used in construction projects for joining steel beams, girders, and other structural components.
- Automotive industry: Welding machines are used to join different parts of a vehicle such as chassis, engine, and body.
- Manufacturing: Welding machines are used to join metal components in the manufacturing industry, including machinery and electronics.
Note :
- Do not use the welder for work other than welding.
- Do not touch the live part.
- Do not solder in places where skimming, cleaning and spraying are required.
- When using, please wear a protective cover or protective clothing.
Usage
:Usage Guidance (How to Use) :
- Place the machine on a stable, dry surface near your AC supply (220 V) and ensure proper ventilation.
- Connect the mains power cord to a suitably rated 220 V single‑phase outlet, ideally with dedicated circuit.
- Attach the earth clamp to a clean, bare metal surface of the workpiece to ensure proper ground.
- Mount the electrode holder and select the correct electrode diameter (1.6‑5.0 mm) based on your job.
- Switch on the machine and set the output current via the digital display according to electrode size and material thickness. For example, for 3.15 mm rod on MS you might set around 120‑160 A depending on conditions.
- Strike the arc and weld: maintain proper arc length, travel speed and electrode angle for clean joins.
- Monitor duty cycle: if machine becomes very hot, allow cooling pause (the 60% duty cycle means heavy use will require breaks).
- After finishing work, switch off the machine, disconnect power, clamp and holder. Store accessories safely.
Maintenance Guidance :
- Regularly clean the machine’s exterior and ventilation slots to prevent dust build‑up; blocked vents reduce cooling and may reduce duty cycle.
- Check cables and clamps for wear or damage; exposed conductors or loose connections degrade performance and safety.
- Inspect electrode holder and earth clamp surfaces for good contact; replace worn parts as needed.
- Periodically check ventilation fan (if fitted) and ensure it runs freely; a weak fan = higher internal heat.
- After heavy usage, let the machine rest to avoid overheating—abiding by the 60% duty cycle helps longevity.
- Store the machine and accessories in a dry, clean environment to prevent corrosion.
- If welding quality decreases (unstable arc, excessive spatter), check electrode type, current setting and ensure clean workpiece surface.
- Have a qualified service person inspect internal components if you notice abnormal sounds, overheating or performance drop.
