Usage
:Usage Guidance (How to Use) :
- Ensure your power supply is single-phase 220 V and that wiring is suitable for the machine’s 5 KVA input.
- Set up a proper earthing clamp on the workpiece to ensure safe and efficient welding.
- Choose the correct electrode (2.5 mm or 3.15 mm) compatible with your material and current requirement.
- Turn the welding machine ON, set the welding current in the 20-120 A range according to electrode diameter and material thickness.
- Ensure good connection of electrode holder and ground clamp; keep cables clear and safe.
- Strike the arc and maintain the proper travel speed, angle and electrode extension consistent with MMA welding best practices.
- Observe the duty cycle: at higher current (120 A) the machine may reach 40% duty cycle — that means approximately 4 minutes welding, then 6 minutes rest in a 10-minute cycle.
- After welding, switch OFF the machine, allow cooling if needed, disconnect leads and clear the workspace.
Maintenance Guidance :
- Keep the machine clean, dust-free and well ventilated. Obstructions to cooling vents reduce performance and lifespan.
- Inspect electrode holder cable, ground clamp cable and connections regularly for wear or damage. Replace as required.
- Ensure cables and clamps are tight and free of corrosion for consistent performance.
- Check for any signs of overheating, unusual noise or smell during operation — if detected, stop use and service unit.
- Store in dry, cool conditions — moisture may degrade internal components or compromise insulation (IP21S protection is for workshop use, not outdoor rain exposure).
- After heavy use, allow the machine a rest period to maintain duty cycle integrity and extend its lifespan.
- Periodically wipe down the exterior and remove welding spatter from around input terminals, cooling fan grate, and case.
