Description
The Heavy Duty 3 HP Chaff Cutter is a high-performance agricultural machine engineered to streamline fodder preparation for dairy farms and livestock owners. Constructed with a robust Mild Steel (MS) body, this machine is designed for longevity and structural stability. Powered by a high-torque 3 HP electric motor, it delivers an impressive cutting capacity of 900-1000 kg/hr, effortlessly processing green and dry fodder such as corn stalks, straw, hay, and grass.
Features
:- Powerful 3 HP Motor: Equipped with a high-efficiency copper-wound motor that provides consistent power for continuous, heavy-duty operation.
- Massive Output Capacity: Capable of processing 900-1000 kg of fodder per hour, making it ideal for medium to large-scale dairy farms.
- Robust Mild Steel Body: The chassis and feeding tray are fabricated from heavy-duty mild steel for maximum vibration dampening and durability.
- Adjustable Cutting Size: Allows operators to vary the length of the chaff to suit different types of livestock, from goats to buffaloes.
Applications
:- Dairy Farming: Essential for preparing uniform fodder for cows and buffaloes to enhance their nutritional intake.
- Commercial Fodder Supply: A reliable workhorse for entrepreneurs who sell processed chaff to local farmers.
- Biomass Processing: Can be used to chop agricultural waste for use in composting or as raw material for biomass pellets.
- Improved Animal Nutrition: The reduction in particle size achieved by chaff cutters increases the surface area of the fodder, which promotes better microbial activity in the rumen of ruminant animals like cows and sheep. This leads to improved digestion and nutrient absorption, resulting in healthier animals and enhanced productivity.
Usage
:1. Preparation and Setup:
- Location: Choose a flat, stable surface for the chaff cutter. Ensure that the area is clear of any obstacles or flammable materials.
- Power Supply: The user needs to connect a motor to an appropriate power source, in order to start working.
- Safety Gear: Wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves, goggles, and ear protection, as operating machinery can be noisy and potentially hazardous.
2. Loading Material:
- Prepare the material (straw or hay) you wish to cut. It should be dry and free from foreign objects like stones or metal pieces.
- Feed the material into the hopper of the chaff cutter slowly and steadily. Avoid overloading the machine as this can cause jams or damage.
3. Starting the Machine:
- Turn on the power switch of the motor-operated chaff cutter.
- Allow the machine to reach its full operational speed before feeding in more material.
4. Cutting Process:
- As you feed material into the hopper, monitor its progress through the cutting mechanism.
- Adjust your feeding speed based on how quickly the machine processes the material; do not force too much at once.
5. Collecting Chaff:
- The cut chaff will exit from a designated outlet. Position containers or bags underneath this outlet to collect the chopped material efficiently.
- Ensure that no one stands directly behind or near this outlet during operation.
6. Shutting Down:
- Once you have finished cutting, turn off the motor using its designated switch.
- Wait for all moving parts to come to a complete stop before attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
