Description
Bluepoint AT570 is a 1/2 inch composite air impact wrench designed for heavy-duty automotive and truck service, delivering up to about 773 N·m of maximum torque with a twin-hammer mechanism and free speeds of approximately 6900 RPM in forward and 7000 RPM in reverse. It combines a powerful reverse-bias motor with a lightweight composite housing and aluminium nose to provide strong breakaway torque while reducing user fatigue in professional workshops.
Features
:- Shot Peen Anvils for improved durability
- Reverse Bias motor provides additional breakaway torque
- 3 position regulator to control power
- One handed forward/reverse lever for user convenience
- Composite housing with aluminum nose combine to deliver a durable, lightweight and balanced unit
- Twin hammer impact mechanism delivers hard hitting blows to quickly remove stubborn fasteners
Applications
:- Automotive and light truck workshops : Lug nuts (with proper torque procedure), suspension, steering, engine mount, and drivetrain fasteners.
- Truck and bus maintenance: Chassis, axle, brake, and structural fasteners that need strong but manageable torque.
- Industrial and plant maintenance: Machinery assembly/disassembly, flange bolts, and general M10–M18 fasteners.
- Fleet and service centres: All-round high-torque 1/2 inch impact for busy bays handling mixed vehicle and equipment work.
Usage
:- Connect to a clean, regulated compressed-air supply (about 6.2–6.3 bar / 90 psi at the tool) with a 3/8 inch hose and suitable couplers, ensuring the compressor can supply the required CFM.
- Fit an impact-rated 1/2 inch socket, seat it fully on the fastener, set the three-position regulator and select forward or reverse with the one-handed lever.
- Use short trigger bursts and the lowest effective power setting, especially when tightening; always verify critical fasteners with a calibrated torque wrench.
- Avoid prolonged free-running at full speed without load; lubricate regularly with a few drops of air-tool oil in the inlet, keep air lines drained of moisture, and inspect hoses and fittings.
- After use, disconnect air, wipe the tool clean, and store it in a dry, protected place; a vinyl boot is often available to protect the housing in harsh environments.
