Usage

 :
  • Setup: Place the machine on a stable, flat surface. Ensure it is plugged into an electrical outlet with the correct voltage and power capacity (3 kW is high, so a dedicated circuit may be required).

  • Preheat: Turn the machine on and set the temperature control to the desired heat, typically between 150-200°C for dosas. Wait for the machine to preheat; an indicator light will usually signal when it's ready.

  • Pour Batter: Use a ladle to pour a measured amount of batter onto the center of the hot, non-stick surface.

  • Spread: Use a T-shaped wooden crepe or dosa spreader (often included) to quickly and evenly spread the batter in a thin, uniform circle.

  • Cook: Let the dosa cook. You can drizzle oil or ghee around the edges and on top if desired. The dosa is ready when the bottom is golden brown and the edges begin to crisp and lift.
