Usage

 :
  • Power and Setting: Plug the machine into a standard electrical outlet. Turn the heat setting dial to the appropriate level for your plastic material. Thinner plastics require lower settings, while thicker materials need higher settings.

  • Position Pouch: Lay the open end of the plastic pouch or bag flat across the sealing bar. Ensure the area to be sealed is free of wrinkles, dust, or moisture for a clean seal.

  • Press and Hold: Firmly press down the sealing handle. An indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the heating element is active and the sealing process is underway.

  • Release and Cool: Once the indicator light turns off (or flickers off, depending on the model), release the handle. Allow the newly sealed area a few seconds to cool and set before moving the pouch to ensure a strong, permanent seal.

Maintenance:

  • Clean Sealing Surface: Regularly wipe the sealing bar and the silicone pad with a dry, soft cloth to remove any plastic residue or debris that may accumulate, ensuring consistent seal quality.

  • Inspect Heating Element & Teflon Strip: Periodically check the heating element and the protective Teflon strip for signs of wear, tears, or carbon buildup. Replace them promptly if damaged to maintain optimal sealing performance.

  • Proper Storage: Store the sealer in a clean, dry, and cool environment when not in use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight, which can degrade the plastic components.

  • Avoid Overuse/Overheating: While designed for continuous use, avoid operating the machine at its highest settings for prolonged periods without short breaks. This helps prevent overheating and extends the lifespan of internal components.
