Usage
:Prep the Cane: Thoroughly wash your sugarcane stalks. You might want to cut them into shorter, manageable pieces (around 1-2 feet long) that will fit easily into the feeding chute. Remove any leaves or nodes.
-
Position and Secure: Place your juicer on a stable surface. These machines can be heavy, so make sure it won't tip over when you apply pressure. Some models might have clamps or a way to bolt them down for extra stability.
-
Feeding Time: Locate the feeding chute (the opening at the top where you'll insert the sugarcane).
-
Crank It Up: Find the handle. This is what you'll turn to power the rollers.
-
Insert and Juice: Take a piece of sugarcane and slowly feed it into the chute while simultaneously turning the handle. The gears and rollers will work together to crush the cane and extract the juice.
-
Catch the Goodness: Position a container (glass, bowl, etc.) under the juice outlet to collect the fresh sugarcane juice.
-
Repeat: Continue feeding sugarcane stalks and turning the handle until you've juiced everything you want.
-
Clean Up: Once you're done, disassemble the parts of the juicer that come apart (rollers, juice tray, etc.) and wash them thoroughly with water and soap. Pay close attention to removing any fibrous residue. Dry all the parts completely before reassembling or storing to prevent rust.
Applications
:- Fresh Juice Production: The main purpose is to produce natural and unprocessed sugarcane juice for immediate consumption.
- Small-Scale Commercial Use: It's suitable for small businesses like street vendors, juice stalls, and small shops where electricity might be unreliable or where a manual, robust option is preferred.
- Home Use: Individuals who enjoy fresh sugarcane juice and want a durable, non-electric juicer for personal use.
- Rural Areas/Off-Grid Locations: Ideal for areas without consistent electricity access.
- Demonstration/Traditional Methods: Can be used to demonstrate traditional methods of juice extraction.
