Usage
:- Preparation: Place the machine on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Make sure the waffle plates are clean and dry. For the first use, or if the non-stick coating seems less effective, you can lightly grease the plates with a non-stick spray, a little oil, or melted butter using a brush.
- Ignite and Preheat: Turn on the gas supply. Use the auto-ignition feature to light the burners. Adjust the flame to the desired heat level; a medium flame is often a good starting point. Allow the waffle maker to preheat for a few minutes until it is hot.
- Pour the Batter: Pour your waffle batter onto the bottom waffle plate. Avoid overfilling, as the batter will expand when cooked.
- Close and Flip: Close the lid of the waffle maker. If your model has a rotating or flipping mechanism, flip the machine 180 degrees to ensure the batter spreads evenly and cooks on both sides.
- Cook: Let the waffles cook for a few minutes. The cooking time will vary depending on the flame intensity, the thickness of your batter, and your desired level of crispiness. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
- Check and Remove: Carefully open the lid to check if the waffles are golden brown and cooked to your liking. Use a non-metallic utensil (like a wooden or plastic spatula) to gently lift the waffle out of the mould.
- Serve and Repeat: Serve the waffles immediately with your favourite toppings. If you're making more, close the lid to maintain heat and repeat the process.
