A Commercial Open Mouth Fish Taiyaki Waffle Maker is a specialized piece of commercial kitchen equipment designed to rapidly produce the Japanese/Korean dessert known as Taiyaki, or fish-shaped waffles. It features multiple molds in the shape of a fish, typically a sea bream. The key differentiating feature is that the mold is designed to leave the fish's mouth open and wide, creating a cone or pocket perfect for filling.

Usage

 :
  • Preheat: Turn the machine on, set the desired temperature using the thermostat, and allow the plates to heat thoroughly.

  • Grease (Optional): Lightly brush the non-stick molds with oil or butter, especially for the first batch.

  • Pour Batter: Ladle or squeeze the Taiyaki batter into the fish molds, covering the entire surface and ensuring the batter fills the "mouth" area.

  • Close and Cook: Close the top plate and set the timer (typically 3 to 5 minutes). The powerful heating elements cook both sides evenly.

  • Remove Waffle: Once the timer sounds and the fish is golden-brown and crispy, open the machine and carefully lift the finished Taiyaki out.

  • Fill: The resulting crispy waffle has a distinct open mouth, which is immediately filled with soft-serve ice cream, custard, or other desired toppings for serving.

  • Repeat: The machine is ready for the next batch immediately, maintaining a fast production cycle.
