Description
The Pulverizer /Masala Grinder Machine with a 2 HP Motor and an output capacity of 20-25 Kg/hr is a compact, robust, and highly efficient grinding unit designed specifically for the commercial processing of dry spices (masalas), herbs, and other food materials into fine powders. It operates on the principle of high-speed impact and friction, where the material is fed into a chamber and crushed by rotating hammers or blades. The fine-ness of the final powder is controlled by interchangeable screens or sieves. This machine is an ideal solution for small to medium-scale enterprises, like spice processing units, catering services, and restaurants, that require a consistent supply of freshly ground spices.
Features
:- 2 HP Electric Motor : Equipped with a powerful 2 Horsepower (HP) motor (typically single-phase or three-phase depending on the model), providing the necessary torque and speed for continuous, heavy-duty grinding of tough materials like turmeric and chillies.
- 20-25 Kg/hr Output Capacity : Designed for small-scale commercial production, offering a practical and efficient output rate of 20 to 25 kilograms of finished powder per hour, depending on the material and desired fineness.
- Hammer Mill/Impact Mechanism : Utilizes a hammer mill or similar high-speed impact mechanism where rotating stainless steel blades or hammers crush the raw material against a fixed liner or grinding surface.
- Interchangeable Sieves/Screens : Comes with a set of removable screens or sieves of various mesh sizes, allowing the operator to easily control and achieve different levels of powder fineness, from coarse to super-fine.
- Stainless Steel (SS) Construction : The grinding chamber, collecting container, and feeding hopper are typically made from food-grade Stainless Steel, ensuring hygiene, preventing contamination, and resisting corrosion from spices.
Applications
:- Spice Grinding (Masalas) : Primary application is the grinding of whole dry spices like turmeric, coriander, cumin, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, and chilli into fine, ready-to-use powders.
- Flour Milling : Used for processing various grains, millets, and pulses (e.g., wheat, rice, corn, gram) into flours or coarse powders for bakery or food preparation.
- Herb and Ayurvedic Powdering : Ideal for grinding dry herbs, medicinal plants, and dehydrated leaves for use in herbal remedies, teas, or Ayurvedic formulations.
- Dry Fruit and Nut Powder : Used to prepare fine powders of dry fruits (like almonds or cashews) or roasted seeds for inclusion in confectionery, snacks, or health mixes.
- Coffee and Tea Processing : Can be used for grinding roasted coffee beans into different consistencies or shredding dry tea leaves in small batches.
Usage
:- Prepare Raw Material : Ensure the spices or herbs are completely dry (moisture content is critical) and free from stones, metal pieces, or large foreign contaminants before feeding.
- Select Sieve : Install the appropriate mesh sieve into the machine based on the desired fineness of the final powder.
- Start the Motor : Turn on the 2 HP motor and allow it to reach its full operating speed before introducing the material. Running empty protects the motor and grinding chamber.
- Controlled Feeding : Slowly and consistently feed the raw material into the hopper. Overloading the machine will reduce efficiency, generate excessive heat, and may stall the motor.
- Monitor Output : Continuously monitor the texture and temperature of the powder collected in the output chute to ensure the grinding is proceeding correctly and the aroma is being preserved.
- Shutdown : After grinding is complete, allow the machine to run empty for a few minutes to clear the grinding chamber, and then switch off the motor and disconnect the power supply.
