Description
Bluepoint AT321 is a compact 3/8 inch single‑hammer air impact wrench designed for general automotive and industrial fastening, delivering around 237 Nm maximum torque with a high free speed of about 11,000 RPM for quick rundown and removal of medium‑size fasteners.
Features
:- Single hammer impact mechanism
- Steel nose case with lightweight aluminum housing
- Convenient slide bar forward/reverse
Applications
:- Automotive service : Removing and installing bolts and nuts on engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and brake components where 3/8 inch drive is suitable.
- Motorcycle and small‑engine work : Fastening on crankcases, covers, brackets, and chassis components needing controlled but strong torque.
- General industrial and plant maintenance : Assembly and disassembly of machinery, pumps, gearboxes, and equipment using M8–M12 fasteners.
- Workshop and DIY : Ideal step‑up from ratchets for frequent medium‑torque jobs, saving time on repetitive fastening tasks.
Usage
:- Connect the wrench to a clean, regulated compressed‑air source (typically around 6.2–6.3 bar / 90 psi at the tool) using a 3/8 inch air hose and appropriate couplings; ensure adequate CFM from the compressor.
- Fit an impact‑rated 3/8 inch socket, seat it fully on the fastener, and use the slide‑bar control to select forward or reverse before squeezing the trigger.
- Use short bursts and adjust tool power (via line regulator or in‑tool regulator if fitted) to avoid overtightening; confirm final torque with a torque wrench on critical fasteners.
- Avoid prolonged free‑spinning without load and follow normal air‑tool care: drain water from airline, add a few drops of air‑tool oil to the inlet regularly, and check hose condition.
- Store the impact wrench in a dry, clean place after use to maximize service life.
