Description
Tackle your toughest industrial projects with the KPT KWM 300. Powered by a robust 8.2 KVA input capacity, this heavy-duty IGBT inverter is designed for consistent, high-performance welding. While compact, it delivers deep penetration and stable arc characteristics, making it ideal for structural fabrication and extensive site work. Built with Insulation Class F, it ensures durability and safety under demanding load conditions.
Features
:- Industrial Grade Power : Features a high Rated Input Capacity of 8.2 KVA, significantly more powerful than standard home welders.
- Heavy Duty Cycle : Engineered for endurance, capable of running continuously at high amperages without thermal cutoff.
- IGBT Inverter Technology : Maximizes efficiency (85%) while minimizing weight and size for easier transport.
- Superior Arc Control : Provides a smooth, spatter-free weld bead, ensuring high-quality finishes on mild and alloy steels.
- Robust Build : Designed with Insulation Class F to withstand heat and harsh workshop environments.
Applications
:- Heavy Fabrication : Ideal for structural steel frameworks, factory maintenance, and pipelines.
- Industrial Manufacturing : Continuous production welding in workshops.
- Construction Sites : Reliable power for on-site erections and reinforcement bonding.
- Automotive Repair : Chassis repair and heavy metal restoration.
Usage
:Usage Guidance (How to Use) :
Power Check : Ensure your power source can handle the 35.7A input current. Use a heavy-duty industrial plug (not a standard home socket).
Safety Gear : Wear a high-grade welding helmet and heat-resistant gloves, as this machine generates significant heat.
Setup : Connect the heavy-duty earth clamp to clean metal. Select your electrode (up to 3.2mm).
Current Setting : For continuous heavy welding with a 3.15mm rod, set the dial between 110-140 Amps.
Operation : Strike the arc. The machine's high input capacity ensures the arc won't "stutter" even on long weld runs.
Maintenance Guidance :
- Connection Tightening : Due to the high current, check terminal connections weekly. Loose connections can melt cables.
- Fan Inspection : Ensure the high-speed cooling fan is spinning freely. Listen for any unusual noises.
- Internal Cleaning : Every month, disconnect power and blow out metal dust from the internal IGBT heatsinks to prevent short circuits.
