Description
Master your fabrication projects with the KPT KWM 250. This lightweight 250A IGBT inverter welder delivers a stable arc and professional finish. Capable of running 1.6mm to 4.0mm electrodes continuously, it features a 60% duty cycle for heavy use. Weighing just 4kg, it combines industrial power with ultimate portability. Ideal for grills, gates, and structural repairs.
Features
:- Advanced IGBT Technology : Ensures a stable welding arc, less spatter, and superior energy efficiency compared to traditional welders.
- High Duty Cycle : Operates at 250A with 60% duty cycle, allowing for longer welding durations without overheating.
- Wide Electrode Compatibility : Smoothly burns electrodes ranging from Ø1.6mm to Ø4.0mm, making it versatile for thin sheets or heavy plates.
- Ultra-Portable : At only 4.0 kg, this machine is easy to carry to any job site or height.
- Energy Efficient : Operates with 85% efficiency, reducing your electricity costs.
Applications
:- Metal Fabrication : Manufacturing gates, grills, railings, and steel furniture.
- Maintenance & Repair : Fixing farm equipment, automotive parts, and machinery.
- Construction : On-site structural welding and pipeline work.
- DIY Projects : Home hobbyists working with mild steel or stainless steel.
Usage
:Usage Guidance (How to Use):
- Safety First : Always wear a welding helmet, leather gloves, and protective clothing. Ensure the work area is dry.
- Connection : Plug the machine into a standard 230V outlet with proper earthing. Connect the earth clamp firmly to the workpiece.
- Electrode Selection : Choose the right rod (e.g., 2.5mm for medium work, 3.15mm for heavy work).
- Current Setting : Set the amperage based on your electrode size (Rule of thumb: 30-40 Amps per mm of electrode diameter).
- Ignition : Scratch the electrode gently against the metal to strike the arc and maintain a consistent gap.
Maintenance Guidance :
To ensure the long life of your KWM 250 :
- Regular Cleaning : Monthly, disconnect power and blow out dust from inside the machine using dry compressed air to protect the IGBT circuits.
- Check Connections : Frequently inspect the electrode holder and earth clamp cables for cuts or loose connections.
- Dry Storage : Always store the machine in a dry, non-corrosive environment to prevent internal moisture damage.
